Would you date someone if you knew they were friends with someone you hated?

Ok so i'm 15, i ve never had a boyfriend and ive never kissed anyone either. I had this huuuge crush on this guy in my cl but i was to shy to talk to him, despite how much my friends were trying to force me to do it. So eventually i told everyone to screw it and forget about it. Today i was at lunch with my friends and this guy pulled me over and was all like HEY! My friend he's been trying to talk to you! He's always talking about you and stuff! (I know crazy huh?!!!) Then he started blushing and walked away. The problem is i dont want to date him if he's friends with this guy who groped me on my way home with my friends last friday (Yes i reported it) But is this a natural reaction? I mean i dont want to restrict myself from someone as perfect as him just because of a stupid guy. I got really uninterested in dating to after the incident. It made me see all boys as terrible people. But im getting over it now and i really like this guy. I'm going to try to talk to him tomorrow. So what do you think i should do?!! Help please!!!
