Are manual cars easy to resell?

I want to buy a car and as I'm a student now on a summer job (which I need the car for) don't want to spend much on a car. I was offered a manual car for a good price but I'm wondring if it will be difficult to resale it after the summer. Will I be stuck with the car for long???
