Followup to the spark plug blowout issue.?

Moe: Thanks for the info in your response. Yes I did buy the extended warranty. But it's not a lubricated part of the engine, so not covered. Had I know of the problem before it happened to me I might have updated the plugs or more likely not bought the truck at all. All of my work was done by Ford. Mostly at the same dealer. The head was done in Michigan because that is where I was at the time it blew. But besides that my dealer has done over $6000 in repairs in the last 14 months. I've contacted 5 different Ford dealers. All say it is a design flaw, but can't say anything "on the record" for obvious reasons. I got as high in the Ford chain ans Michael O'Brien marketing manager for the Expedition. His response after a few days of "checking into it" was "sorry we can't help you.". No reason just that response. So again thanks for your time.
