Help!!!! defiant toddler and trying to potty train?

My daughter just was not ready. I didn't want to force it since I knew it would just be a power struggle. I waited until we were both off for the summer (I teach). We had potty boot camp. Panties only. Even at night. I knew I would be washing sheets each morning, which I didn't mind since I was off work. It didn't take her long, only a couple days. The poop thing took longer and I had to make sure I gave her 100% Juice to make sure she could go easily. But now she is doing great! She was 3 1/2, actually a tad older, but it was her time and she was ready. It will happen when it is time. But I do think being able to devote all day to it helps. A week off from work, Christmas break, summer break, a long weekend. Stay home all day and near a potty. I kept her in panties and a tshirt for easy potty use.
