I need a new comp. but dont know wut to look 4?

I need a new comp. cuz my other is f***ed up. It'll have to b a laptop cuz i go 2 skool, i work, and i wanna use it at home also. I want 2 b able to play great games and i want them to look good and perform well. But it needs to b good for skool and work and the programs they require (i am studying mech. engineering). It probably needs to have a lot of memory and space if i wanna play games and use it for skool and work and still run fast and smooth and not overheat on me. I woul realy appreciate it if anyone could help.
