Just out of curiosity, Why doesn't the Ukraine or Georgia have military personal in Afghanistan?

If those two countries were trying to get accepted into NATO, why wouldn't they help with NATO's world affairs? Best way I can ask that question unfortunate. Do you understand what I'm asking? Even the russian Federation has a hospital down there with troops to aid with medical iactance to local country men.
