When a girl is mad at you...what can i do you make her not be upset anymore?

will complements and being nice make things better? or am i not going to be able to fix this? I did nots any think...I think it was my body language....I feel bad... she was sooo snappy to me.....thursday....I wanna get to know her more...what should i say?
