Why is it so important to keep the magna carte here in the USA.?

The Magna Carte was the base doent for freedom. It was the first doent that said that rulers ruled by consent of the ruled. Before that doent kings were directly appointed by God (the theory of devine right of kings) and were all powerful. The Magna Carte put limits on the power wielded by kings and outlined rights to be given to nobility and commoner alike. In the last century thankfully the United States has seen less conflict than just about any other place on the face of the Earth. It has been the safest place to store such a historically important doent.
